Our centre is located at one of the most prestigious independent schools, not only in the UK, but across the world. Located in Crowthorne, about one hour from central London, and close to Heathrow airport, Wellington College is like no other school in the world.

Historic and traditional, a truly British experience. This famous and highly respected boarding school provides a world-leading educational environment, and a wealth of first class facilities, all set within an inspirational campus.

  • Room Type: Single and shared rooms in a traditional British boarding house set up.
  • Bathrooms: shared by up to five students.
  • What's in a room: Room furniture includes a wardrobe, desk and chair
  • Cleaning: Rooms are cleaned weekly
  • Laundry: available at the residence.
  • Meals: are served in a large dining hall
  • Wi-Fi: available throughout
  • Linen: changed weekly
  • Towel: students must bring their own towel
  • A deposit of £30 is required upon arrival and replacement of lost key is £35

On-site activities are organised in between lessons and during evenings. These activities could be on-site or near to the centre. All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.

Oxford: Students can get to know the other famous university city and visit one of its most famous colleges

Cambridge: Explore this charming, iconic city on a walking tour and visit Kings College

Brighton: enjoy this vibrant popular seaside city with beautiful architecture, visit the Sea Life Centre and The Palace Pier

  • Taught by friendly and informative English teachers
  • 20 x 45 minute lessons per week morning or afternoon
  • Placement test on day 1 to ensure students in appropriate level
  • Maximum 17 students per class
  • Students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities
  • Lecture style and standard classrooms
  • The majority of classrooms are in Darwin College or in nearby academic buildings
  • Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills
  • Materials included as well as an end of course report and certificate
  • Trinity exam preparation available

All meals are served in a large self-service dining hall on campus.

2 courses, 3 options including a vegetarian option and halal option

Each 14-night stay will include a total of 10 local accompanied visits to London with activities and 2 full-day excursions to other major cities such as Cambridge, Brighton and Canterbury. Transport for trips may be by private coach or public transport.
Students may have lessons either in the morning or in the afternoon in week 1, alternating weekly after that.
