My experience with Embassy Summer started in the summer of 2022 travelling to Malta to work as an activity leader. During that period, I developed my language skills, visited a beautiful island, worked with professional and helpful coworkers, and made friends who will be there for life.

The challenge of a job with more responsibilities in this environment was why I returned during the summer of 2023, this time as a Welfare and Accommodation Officer. This new position showed me I could keep growing both on a career/personal level.

As of today, I keep working for Embassy Summer/EC company. Leading Study Tours as Programme Manager, I look forward to contributing to this company and having awesome new experiences.

I'm Johnley and I've worked with Embassy Summer for two years in a row as an Activity Manager. I've made a great family every summer with Embassy. We make do with what we have and we have a close-knit group of colleagues that you are comfortable and proud to work with daily, no matter the hours. Before this, I never knew I could handle personalising various programmes for more than 2500 students. Now, I just call it a Monday.

It was an immensely valuable summer spent in my life. It left me with wonderful memories to adore forever. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to work at the London centre for a week before joining the Oxford centre.
