Our centre is located on the campus of South Bank University, only a short
walk from attractions like the London Eye and the London Dungeon.
The location couldn't be more central! You'll be staying at McLaren House, just a couple of minutes from the main university building. Everything you could wish to see is only a short walk or underground ride away.

Price: £1,180 per week (price includes tuition, trips, activities, accommodation and full board)

Day Programme: £550 per week

Always starting on a Monday including tuition, activities and lunch. No accommodation is included. Contact us for more information.

On-site activities are scheduled occasionally when students are not in class or out exploring London, with full-day excursions at the weekend. All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games

Half-Day Trips
Our students get to explore exciting places around London 5 times a week, they visit places such as The British Museum, the Imperial War Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, Oxford street shopping and The National Gallery.

Full-Day Excursions
Brighton: Enjoy this vibrant and popular seaside resort with beautiful architecture and visit the Sea Life Centre.

Canterbury: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most visited cities in the UK. Marvel at the gothic architecture of Canterbury Cathedral and medieval buildings.

Cambridge: Explore this iconic university city, famous for its renowned colleges. A visit to King's College is included.

The classroom is at the heart of your London Junior English Course. English Lessons are student-centred and encourage the development of relevant language skills.

  • Taught by friendly and professional English teachers
  • 20 x 45 minute lessons per week – 3 hours per morning or afternoon, 5 days per week
  • Placement test on first weekday to ensure students in appropriate level
  • Students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities
  • Maximum 17 students per class
  • Modern classrooms with projectors and teacher internet access to use online resources
  • Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills
  • Materials included as well as an end of course report and a certificate
 

Dining:

Meals are served in large self-service dining hall (spread across 2 floors) in the main University building, in the LSBU HUB.

Breakfast

Continental including juice, tea or coffee, toast, cereal and fruit.

Lunch

2 courses, 3 options including a vegetarian option.

Evening Meal

2 courses, 3 options including a vegetarian option.

 

Classrooms: Modern classrooms with projectors and audio-visual facilities.

Sports Facilities: Indoor multi-purpose sports hall available once a week, and a local park used for games and activities.

Common Room: Communal space in each flat.

Each 14 night stay will include a total of 10 local accompanied visits to London with visits/activities and 2 full-day excursions to other major cities such as Cambridge, Brighton and Canterbury. Transport for trips may be by private coach or public transport.Students may have lessons either in the morning or in the afternoon in week 1, alternating weekly after that.
