Our centre is located on the main campus of Royal Holloway University of London, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to Royal Windsor.
There is a lot of outdoor space to explore around the campus and plenty of social space indoors. Located close to central London and Heathrow Airport, with the famous Thorpe Park theme park just fifteen minutes away.

On-site activities scheduled every weekday in between lessons with some half-day trips and two full-day excursions weekly. All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.
Activities
Sports: With a choice of football, mini Olympics, rounders, table tennis, volleyball and basketball.
Daytime activities: Drama and performance workshops, scavenger hunts and culture club.
Evening: Activities such as karaoke, a talent show, and film nigh.
Half-Day Trips
Our students get to explore exciting places such as Windsor Castle and Henley Upon Thames with River Cruise.
Full-Day Excursions
Students go on two full-day excursions every week. On Tuesdays or Wednesdays they will visit London and explore some of the following:
- The Science Museum
- The Natural History Museum
- The National Gallery
- Westminster Walking Tour
- The British Museum
- Oxford Street shopping
- Hyde Park
- Oxford: explore this iconic university city and visit one of its famous Colleges.
- Brighton: enjoy this popular seaside town and visit the Sea Life Centre and the Palace Pier.
- Cambridge: visit this charming university city with walking tour and visit to one of its famous colleges.
The classroom is at the heart of your Royal Holloway Junior English Course. English Lessons are student-centred and encourage the development of relevant language skills.
- Taught by friendly and professional English teachers
- 20 x 45 minute lessons per week morning or afternoon
- Placement test on day 1 to ensure students in appropriate level
- Maximum 17 students per class
- Students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities
- Standard classrooms
- Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills
- Materials included as well as an end of course report and certificate
Meals: All meals are served in a large on-site canteen.
Royal Holloway is a nut free centre and no foods/snacks with nuts are allowed, very safe for students with allergies.
Breakfast
Breakfast consists of 3 days with English Breakfast and 4 days with Continental Breakfast per week.
Lunch
Lunch includes a choice of 3 hot meals (one vegetarian) with salad bar, fruit, dessert and bread roll.
Packed lunches (on weekends): sandwich, water, crisps, fruit and cake.
Evening Meal
Dinner includes a choice of 3 hot meals (one vegetarian) with salad bar, fruit, dessert and bread roll.

Sample Timetable
Each 14 night stay will include 2 half-day trips exciting places/cities such as Windsor Castle and Henley Upon Thames or Marlow, and 4 full-day excursions to other major cities such as London, Oxford and Brighton. Transport for trips may be by private coach or public transport.
