Welcome to Toronto! Our centre is located at the impressive Keele campus of York University, the third largest university in Canada.
There are some great facilities on campus, such as indoor and outdoor basketball courts, a swimming pool and ball fields, and the centre of Toronto is only a 30-minute metro ride away.

· Students stay in single or twin en-suite rooms in Tatham Hall.

· Shared bathroom ratio of 1:5.

· All rooms are furnished with a wardrobe, desk and chair.

· Traditional Canadian college dormitory style rooms and layout.

· Communal space on each dormitory floor.

· Bathrooms are cleaned daily.

· Bed linen is changed every week.

· Laundry is available in each residence building.

· Meals are served in a self-service dining hall.

· Wi-Fi throughout the campus and accommodation.

There will be 3 full-day trips during the week. All activities are designed to continue the learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.

Activities
Sports:
With a choice of football, mini Olympics, volleyball and basketball.

Drama: Drama and performance activities, such as drama workshops and scavenger hunts.

Evening: Activities such as karaoke, a talent show, team games and Downtown by night tours.

Half-Day Trips
Our local half-day trips take students to places of interest such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the Toronto Harbor Cruise.

Full-Day Excursions
Downtown Toronto: Explore downtown Toronto and visit the iconic CN Tower.

Niagara Falls: Students get to experience these impressive waterfalls, the 8th wonder of the world.

Toronto Beach: Also known as “The Beaches”, this relaxed neighbourhood with a small-town vibe is a popular summer destination with sandy beaches and a quaint boardwalk.

· Lessons are taught by qualified English teachers.

· 20 x 45-minute lessons per week, every morning.

· Placement test on day 1 to ensure students are in a class of the appropriate level.

· Maximum 16 students per class.

· Students will be placed in international classes with others of mixed nationalities.

· Standard classrooms located in York University campus.

· Course material is included.

· Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills.
