MALTA BELLA VISTA PROGRAMME

Our ever popular hotel residential option is back for 2023. Students stay in a hotel located on the north side of the island, close to the beautiful sandy beaches, whilst studying at St Martin’s College.

With shops and local amenities within walking distance, a swimming pool to relax by and a hotel style buffet restaurant to eat in, this is a firm favourite with our students.

Living

Bella Vista Hotel is located within a 30-minute private bus journey from the school
Triple or quad rooms with private bathroom
Room furniture includes a wardrobe, TV, and air conditioner
Common spaces outside and inside
Bedrooms cleaned every other day
Laundry available on site at the hotel at an additional cost.
Bath towels are provided and changed daily, students should bring their own a beach towel
Dinner and breakfast served at hotel, lunch served at school or activity (with packed lunches on weekends)
Students will be required to pay a refundable damage deposit of €30 (cash only)

Activities and Excursions

On-site activities are scheduled occasionally when students are not in class or out exploring Malta, with full-day excursions at the weekend. All activities are designed to continue learning in a fun and enjoyable way, encouraging students to develop life skills and make new friends through sport, activities and socially interactive games.

Daytime activities such as scavenger hunts and drama workshops

Half-Day Trips
Our students get to explore exciting places such as Valletta, Marsaxlokk, Mdina and Malta harbour cruise

Full-Day Excursions
Comino: famous for being one of the most beautiful places on Malta with crystal, clear sparkling water and beautiful beaches. Comino is a small island located off the north coast of Malta and is a must to visit.

The classroom is at the heart of your Malta Junior English Course. English Lessons are student-centred and encourage the development of relevant language skills. All Lessons are held at St. Martin's College.

Taught by friendly and professional English teachers
20 x 45 minute lessons per week morning or afternoon
Placement test on day 1 to ensure students in appropriate level
Maximum 17 students per class
Students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities
Spacious modern classrooms with interactive whiteboards
Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills
Materials included as well as and end of course report and certificate

Activities: Sports, games and activities take place at the hotel

Dining Hall: Lunch is served in a large on-site canteen at St. Martins College. Students staying in homestay eat breakfast and dinner with their families and students staying at the hotel eat breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Packed lunches are provided at the weekend.

Continental breakfast available including juice, tea, coffee, toast, jams, cereal, pastries and fruit or similar.

Lunch

Served at school or on activity, lunch consists of one hot or cold dish.

Packed lunches are provided at weekends that will consist of a sandwich, water and fruit.

The programme starts on a Sunday and it includes the full 7 days of the week.

Students will take part of lessons, have lunch at the centre and go on activities and excursions with the rest of the students. Below is a sample of the full summer programme.
