For lunch, dive into a diverse array of dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences, all available in the convenient all-you-care-to-eat format. 

No Halal options available in this centre.

 
  • Taught by friendly and professional English teachers 
  • 20 x 45 minute lessons per week 
  • Placement test on day 1 to ensure students are classed at an appropriate level 
  • Maximum 17 students per class 
  • When possible, students will be placed in an international class with students of different nationalities 
  • Common spaces are used as classrooms 
  • Curriculum with emphasis on communication skills 

Arrival

Students will be welcomed upon arrival at Rieber Hall, where they will register.

 

Welcome

The opening evening will feature a warm welcome event, thoughtfully planned to facilitate student interaction with both faculty and fellow peers, providing an avenue to acquaint themselves with the campus, its amenities, and indispensable insights that will enhance their entire stay. 

 

Activities

Activities are organised on evenings and afternoons with full-day excursions on WednesdaysFridays, and Saturdays. On Sundays, students can choose between an optional — not prepaid — excursion or on-site activities. Onsite activities may include: 

  • Sports such as tennis, basketball, and soccer 
  • Drama and performance activities such as karaoke night and talent shows 
  • Evening activities such as arts and crafts and casino night

3 Week Sample Programmes

Each 14-night stay includes 3 full-day excursions to exciting places around Los Angeles such as Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Downtown LA, visiting places of interest in each location. Transport for trips may be by private coach or public transport. Students may have lessons either in the morning or in the afternoon in week 1, alternating weekly after that.

We place the highest priority on care and supervision at all of our Embassy Summer centres so you can rest assured students are well looked after. Members of staff are available 24 hours a day.

Medical information

If a student needs medical attention, an Embassy Summer staff member will help make an appointment. Group leaders must accompany the student to the appointment. An Embassy Summer staff member will accompany any student that is not part of a groupAll costs have to be paid by the student. Students must have written consent from their parent/guardian for any medical treatment to be administered. Students must provide proof of medical insurance prior to arrival.
